Our Screenplay Readers

Our script coverage team consists of screenplay readers with extensive industry experience. In addition to holding university degrees, each of our script readers must pass our company's script coverage test and receive high marks from industry executives before joining us. They have covered scripts and books for creative executives, directors of development, producers, directors, writers, screenplay contests, literary agents and managers. Our screenplay readers' coverage writing skills have been described by executives as candid, spot-on, constructive and useful in many ways.

If you want industry-style coverage and honest screenplay feedback, get our screenplay coverage services. We will point out the plot issues and any scenes that don't serve the plot. Our goal is to help our clients strengthen their storytelling skills. We also do coverage on "shooting" scripts submitted by directors and producers. Why? At times, they want to get collective feedback on their "shooting" scripts prior to finalizing the cast and going into principal photography.

A Screenplay Reader's Role

At a production company, a screenplay reader's role is to read scripts and provide coverage reports. Screenplay readers are essentially gatekeepers to producers, creative executives and other key players in the film/television industry. If your coverage gets a "Consider" from a reader, your chances of getting your screenplay in the hands of a producer will increase. The screenplay coverage helps the producer determine if a particular script or writer fits the mandate of the production company.

Hence, it is important to get screenplay coverage from our experienced script readers. They have worked alongside development executives and other industry professionals. In addition to having experience reading scripts for production companies, our screenplay readers have covered scripts from literary agencies and management companies. They have solid coverage skills.
