FILM/TV SCRIPT FORMATTING SERVICE

We offer script formatting services. To get pricing for your script, use the below online contact form and also tell us the name of the screenwriting software you are using. Once we get your email, we will reply and ask you to attach your script so that we can determine the price and approximate turnaround time to format your script.

Getting your script properly formatted is essential because a script that is not written in proper film or TV format will not only give you an inaccurate page count and running time of your movie or TV script, producers that pitch your script to will not take you seriously. Your script is your reputation.

The turnaround time on script formatting service can vary, depending on the complexity of each script project. Please note that all scripts must be in English.

SCRIPT DOCTOR INITIAL SCRIPT ASSESSMENT SERVICE IS AVAILABLE

For more information, use the below online form. If you would like to get pricing for script doctoring (rewriting) service, the first step is to email us your script and then get Initial Script Assessment service. Be sure to let us know the due date you would like the script doctoring to be completed by. If we can meet your deadline, we will advise you to proceed with ordering our  Script  Doctor Initial Assessment service. To summarize, in order for us to determine the exact cost to rewrite your script, we first need to read and evaluate the script's condition.

Our script doctor is Ellexia Nguyen, a graduate of the UCLA Professional Screenwriting Program. She started out in the industry as an apprentice film editor at producer Roger Corman's Concorde-New Horizons company in Los Angeles, and as an assistant at Paramount Pictures' Worldwide Feature Film Publicity department. A handful of the film/TV pilot scripts she rewrote for her clients got deals with Creative Artists Agency, Netflix, Paramount Pictures, HBO, and other indie film/TV production companies. Some of the novels -- fiction and creative-non-fiction -- that she was hired to co-ghostwrite also landed book and movie deals. Some are in preliminary casting stages while others are in production and post-production.
  • The Initial Script Doctor Assessment service fee for a script (up to 120 pages) that is properly formatted to industry standard is $120 USD. Once we receive your script, we will email you a personalized payment link/e-invoice to place your order.
After the Initial Script Assessment service is completed, which takes about 3-5 business days, we will email you the following;
  • Price quote for script doctoring your script.
  • Turnaround time for script doctoring.
  • A 1-page general story feedback.
The script doctoring price depends on the condition of each script. For example, if your script is not properly formatted to industry standard, it will cost more  because it would need script doctoring plus script formatting done. A script that is not properly formatted will give you an incorrect page count and an unprofessional look. Some examples of incorrect formatting include having wrong font style/size and margin sizes, missing scene headings, and incorrect;y formatted flashbacks and dream sequences.
